All That Glitters

All That Glitters is episode nine of the second season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 22 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 27 January 1991 and on the Disney Channel on 17 June 1991. It was written by Janet MacLean and directed by Harvey Frost. It was preceded by “Sea Ghost” and followed by “Dreamer of Dreams.”

This episode stars series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), and Cedric Smith (Alec King); absent from this episode is series regular Zachary Bennett (Felix King). Guest stars include Michael York (Ezekiel Crane), Patricia Hamilton (Rachel Lynde), Michael Mahonen (Gus Pike), and Tom Butler (Captain Borden).
