Moving On

Moving On is episode five of the fourth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 44 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 7 February 1993 and, under the title “Sara and the Marshal,” on the Disney Channel on 29 March 1993. It was written by Charles Lazer (teleplay) and directed by Stephen Surjik. It was preceded by “Boys Will Be Boys” and followed by “Evelyn.”

This episode stars series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode are series regulars Zachary Bennett (Felix King) and Cedric Smith (Alec King). Guest stars include Treat Williams (Zak Morgan), August Schellenberg (Simon Redfox), Michael Mahonen (Gus Pike), and Patricia Hamilton (Rachel Lynde).
