Great Expectations

Great Expectations is episode six of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 71 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 19 February 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 6 November 1995. It was written by Laurie Pearson and directed by Charles Wilkinson. It was preceded by “The Trouble with Davey” and followed by “A Fox Tale.”

This episode stars series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King) and Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale); absent from this episode are series regulars Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King). Guest stars include R.H. Thomson (Jasper Dale), Richard McMillan (Lionel Lester), Kyle Labine (Davey Keith), Lindsay Murrell (Dora Keith), and David Fox (Clive Pettibone).
