I’m happy to share with you the cover art for the first two volumes in The L.M. Montgomery Library. The first volume, A Name for Herself: Selected Writings, 1891–1917, is now up for pre-order on the publisher’s website, where there’s also now a dedicated page for the series, or through your favourite bookseller; it will be released later this fall. The second volume, A World of Songs: Selected Poems, 1894–1921, will be available in February 2019.

Hello Benjamin; enjoying your book, volume 1, A Life In Print. Have been looking for articles and interviews of Maud and so pleased you collected some many.
Are you aware if there are any radio interviews of Maud? To hear her voice would be something to treasure.
I agree with you entirely how wonderful it would be to hear a recording of Montgomery’s voice. To the best of my knowledge, none has survived, even though she did at least a few radio interviews in the 1930s. But hopefully one day a recording will turn up!
Very glad to hear you’ve enjoyed my collection of Montgomery’s essays and interviews. I do hope you’ll enjoy the upcoming volume of Montgomery’s non-fiction, most of which was published before Anne of Green Gables. Her newspaper column is quite a hoot.
