This mass-market paperback edition by Seal Books (at the time an imprint of McClelland-Bantam, later of Doubleday Canada) is a nearly identical reprint of a similar edition published by Bantam Books (New York) in 1976. A later, identical edition with a cover photo of Megan Follows from Sullivan Films’s 1985 miniseries of Anne of Green Gables appeared in 1987.
