Extracts from the Diary of a Second Class Mouse is a sketch that L.M. Montgomery wrote while a student at Prince of Wales College and published in the April 1894 issue of its short-lived student paper The College Record. It was reprinted for the first time in A Name for Herself: Selected Writings, 1891–1917.
