From Fiction Writers on Fiction Writing: Advice, Opinions and a Statement of Their Own Working Methods by More Than One Hundred Authors is a book edited by Arthur Sullivant Hoffman and published by Bobbs-Merrill Company in 1923. It includes responses by 115 authors, most of whom are no longer widely known. Montgomery’s responses to twelve questions—which offer more details than most responses appearing in the collection—are reprinted in The L.M. Montgomery Reader, Volume 1: A Life in Print.
