Maud, by Melanie J. Fishbane

Melanie J. Fishbane teaches at Humber College (Toronto) and has an M.A. in history from Concordia University and an M.F.A. in writing for children and young adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is the author of Maud: A Novel Inspired by the Life of L.M. Montgomery (2017) and contributed a chapter to L.M. Montgomery’s Rainbow Valleys: The Ontario Years, 1911–1942 (2015).
