Aunt Abigail’s Beau

Aunt Abigail’s Beau is episode eight of the first season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 8 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 25 February 1990 and on the Disney Channel on 2 April 1990. It was written by Heather Conkie and directed by Harvey Frost. It was preceded by “Conversions” and followed by “Malcolm and the Baby.”

This episode stars series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), and Zachary Bennett (Felix King); absent from this episode are series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King) and Mag Ruffman (Olivia King). Guest stars include Rosemary Dunsmore (Aunt Abigail) and Malcolm Stoddard (Malcolm MacEwan).

A novelization by Amy Jo Cooper, as volume 7 of the Road to Avonlea book series, was published in Canada in 1991 and the United States in 1992.
