Of Corsets and Secrets and True True Love is episode four of the second season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 17 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 23 December 1990 and on the Disney Channel on 22 April 1991. It was written by Marlene Matthews and directed by René Bonnière. It was preceded by “Aunt Hetty’s Ordeal” and followed by “Old Quarrels, Old Love.”
This episode stars series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia King), and Zachary Bennett (Felix King); absent from this episode are series regulars Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), and Cedric Smith (Alec King). Guest stars include Colleen Dewhurst (Marilla Cuthbert), Patricia Hamilton (Rachel Lynde), Kyle Labine (Davey Keith), Ashley Muscroft (Dora Keith), and Leo Burns (Mr. Drabble).
A novelization by Fiona McHugh, as volume 14 of the Road to Avonlea book series, was published in Canada in 1992 and the United States in 1993.
