Incident at Vernon River is episode three of the fourth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 42 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 24 January 1993 and on the Disney Channel on 22 March 1993. It was written by Rick Drew (teleplay) and directed by F. Harvey Frost. It was preceded by “The Lady and the Blade” and followed by “Boys Will Be Boys.”
This episode stars series regulars Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode are series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), and Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale).
