Memento Mori is episode two of the fifth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and the fifty-fourth episode overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 9 January 1994 (as part of a double header with the preceding episode, “Fathers and Sons“) and on the Disney Channel on 7 March 1994 (where it aired out of order as the first episode of season five). It was written by Heather Conkie and directed by Don McBrearty. It was preceded by “Fathers and Sons” and followed by “Modern Times.”
This episode stars series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), and Cedric Smith (Alec King).
