Someone to Believe In is episode seven of the fifth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and the fifty-ninth episode overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 20 February 1994 and on the Disney Channel on 14 November 1994 (where it aired out of order as the ninth episode of season five). It was written by Avrum Jacobson and directed by Eleanore Lindo. It was preceded by “The Great Race” and followed by “Strictly Melodrama.”
This episode stars series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), and Cedric Smith (Alec King); absent from this episode are series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley) and Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale).
