The Minister’s Wife

The Minister’s Wife is episode thirteen of the fifth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and the sixty-fifth episode overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 27 March 1994 and on the Disney Channel on 18 April 1994. It was written by Raymond Storey and directed by Allan King. It was preceded by “Enter Prince Charming” and followed by “The Return of Gus Pike.”

This episode stars series regulars Sarah Polley (Sara Stanley), Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Lally Cadeau (Janet King), and Cedric Smith (Alec King). Guest stars include Stockard Channing (Viola Elliot), Jaimz Woolvett (Booth Elliot), Jim Mezon (John Elliot), Marilyn Lightstone (Muriel Stacey), and David Fox (Clive Pettibone).
