A Fox Tale is episode seven of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 72 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 26 February 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 20 November 1995. It was written by Laurie Pearson (teleplay) and Jim Henshaw (story) and directed by Kit Hood. It was preceded by “Great Expectations” and followed by “Fools and Kings.”

This episode stars series regulars Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), and Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King); absent from this episode are series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King). Guest stars include Nigel Bennett (Enoch Cain), Kevin Jubinville (Nat Lester), Kay Tremblay (Great Aunt Eliza), and Heather Brown (Izzy Pettibone).
