Fools and Kings

Fools and Kings is episode eight of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 73 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 5 February 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 9 October 1994. It was written by Raymond Storey and directed by William Brayne. It was preceded by “A Fox Tale” and followed by “The More Things Change.”

This episode stars series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode is series regular Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King). Guest stars include Ian D. Clark (Simon Tremayne), Marilyn Lightstone (Muriel Stacey), Leon Pownall (Heath Hymus), Corinne Conley (Eleanor McHugh), Kay Tremblay (Aunt Eliza), and John Weir (Gurney MacDonald).
