The More Things Change

The More Things Change is episode nine of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 74 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 5 March 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 27 November 1995. It was written by Rick Drew (teleplay) and directed by Allan Eastman. It was preceded by “Fools and Kings” and followed by “Home Is Where the Heart Is.”

This episode stars series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode are series regulars Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King) and Cedric Smith (Alec King). Guest stars include Marilyn Lightstone (Muriel Stacey), David Fox (Clive Pettibone), Heather Brown (Izzy Pettibone), Zachary Ansley (Arthur Pettibone), Kay Tremblay (Great Aunt Eliza), and Kyle Labine (Davey Keith).
