Home Is Where the Heart Is is episode ten of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 75 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 12 March 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 11 December 1995. It was written by Avrum Jacobson and directed by Stacey Stewart Curtis. It was preceded by “The More Things Change” and followed by “What a Tangled Web We Weave.”

This episode stars series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode are series regulars Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), and Cedric Smith (Alec King). Guest stars include Patricia Hamilton (Rachel Lynde), Albert Millaire (Pierre La Pierre), Kyle Labine (Davey Keith), Lindsay Murrell (Dora Keith), Peter Van Wart (Robert Lynde), Richard Blackburn (Billy Lynde), and Barbara Hamilton (Eulalie Bugle).
