What a Tangled Web We Weave is episode eleven of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 76 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 19 March 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 13 November 1995. It was written by Marlene Matthews and directed by F. Harvey Frost. It was preceded by “Home Is Where the Heart Is” and followed by “A Time to Every Purpose.”

This episode stars series regulars Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King), Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode is series regular Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King). Guest stars include Faye Dunaway (Countess Polenska), Maureen Stapleton (Maggie MacPhee), Albert Millaire (Pierre La Pierre), James B. Douglas (Menushkin), Peter Outerbridge (Count Marek), Ian D.
