A Time to Every Purpose is episode twelve of the sixth season of the Sullivan Entertainment long-form television series Road to Avonlea (1990–1996) and episode 77 overall. It first aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 26 March 1995 and on the Disney Channel on 18 December 1995. It was written by Laurie Pearson and directed by Stefan Scaini. It was preceded by “What a Tangled Web We Weave” and followed by “Homecoming.”

This episode stars series regulars Mag Ruffman (Olivia Dale), Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King), Cedric Smith (Alec King), and Lally Cadeau (Janet King); absent from this episode is series regular Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King). Guest stars include Marilyn Lightstone (Muriel Pettibone), Graham McPherson (Dr. Snow), Mairon Bennett (Colleen Pritchard), Andrew Tarbet (Seth Pritchard), and Kay Tremblay (Great Aunt Eliza).
