The Blythes Are Quoted, L.M. Montgomery’s rediscovered final book, has been published in three English-language editions so far: an initial hardcover edition (2009), a nearly identical trade paperback edition (2010), and a Penguin Modern Classics Edition (2018) with minor differences in terms of presentation and supplementary material.

This paperback edition, a Penguin Modern Classics Edition, is identical to the original 2009 edition in terms of Montgomery’s text. Cover and prelims have been redesigned; Lefebvre’s afterword and Epperly’s foreword have been revised slightly and reversed; the list of Montgomery’s books appearing in the original edition has been replaced by a new list of suggestions for further reading.
