The Way to Make a Book is an article on writing that L.M. Montgomery published in the April 1915 issue of Everywoman’s World (in the same issue as the round table “What Twelve Canadian Women Hope to See as the Outcome of the War”). It appears in a Broadview critical edition of Anne of Green Gables edited by Cecily Devereux and in The L.M. Montgomery Reader, Volume 1: A Life in Print.
