Overview
L.M. Montgomery published several shorter works in 1921, including the poems “The Lover’s Catechism,” “Robin Vespers,” and “Premonitions,” as well as the short memoirs “How I Became a Writer” and “Blank Verse? ‘Very Blank,’ Said Father.” Another essay, entitled “‘I Dwell Among My Own People,’” was published around 1921 as well.
Also in 1921, the Toronto Women’s Press Club published an anthology entitled Verse and Reverse that included two of Montgomery’s poems—“Song of Winter” and “The Gate of Dream”—that had first appeared in 1919.
